Committee of Adjustment

That the Committee of Adjustment approve the April 9, 2025 Agenda as presented or amended.

That the Committee of Adjustment approve the Minutes from the April 9, 2025 meeting as presented or amended.

1. That the Staff Report from the Planning and Development Department dated April 9, 2025, concerning a Minor Variance Application (A02-2025) for the lands municipally known as 16255 Telephone Road be received; 2. And That Minor Variance Application (A02-2025) be approved for the following reasons: a. The proposed variance is minor in nature; b. The proposed development is appropriate and desirable; c. The proposed development meets the intent of the Official Plan; and, d. That the proposed development meets the intent of Zoning By-law No. 140-2002, as amended; 3. That the Committee decision permits the following: a. A reduced interior side yard, in order to facilitate an addition on the subject lands; and, 4. That the subject Minor Variance Application (A02-2025) for the lands described as 16255 Telephone Road be authorized and approved subject to the following condition(s): a. That the 20-day appeal period to the Committee’s decision shall lapse prior to the issuance of a April 09, 2025 Municipality of Brighton Page 2 of 3 Committee of Adjustment Building Permit.
