That the Community Events and Civic Awards Advisory Committee recommend to Council that the deadline for the nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award be extended due to minimal detailed nominations received for the award to be presented on Canada Day 2023; and further That the Citizen of the Year Award be presented to the recipient at Applefest 2023 in lieu of Canada Day 2023; and further That Council direct staff to review the processes used for nominations of the awards arranged by the Community Events and Civic Awards Advisory Committee.
