That Council resolve into Closed Session January 12, 2026 at 8:07 p.m., pursuant to the Ontario Municipal Act, R.S.O. 2001 as amended, Subsection 239 (2(b)) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal and local board employees, Review of Applicants for the Applefest Steering Committee and Accessibility Advisory Committee. Mayor Ostrander recessed the meeting at 8:07 p.m., meeting reconvened at 8:17 p.m.

That Council rise are report from Closed Session January 12, 2026 at 8:24 p.m. discussion of matters pertaining to:  (2(b)) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal and local board employees, Review of Applicants for the Applefest Steering Committee and the Accessibility Advisory Committee. And Whereas a procedural motion to adopt the Closed Session minutes of October 14, 2026 was voted on during Closed Session; And Further Council approve the confidential items presented in Closed Session; Now Therefore Be It Resolved That Council hereby approves the appointment of Christopher Palmer to the Applefest Committee and the appointment of Tiffany Liscombe to the Accessibility Advisory Committee as discussed in Closed Session held on January 12, 2026.

That Council gives a bylaw its first, second and third reading and finally passes on this date: being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Corporation of the Municipality of Brighton Council meeting held on January 12, 2026.
