Whereas staff informed the Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee of project and program opportunities available through the Trees for Life organization; and Whereas the Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee supports initiatives that involve the planting of trees; Now therefore be it resolved that the Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee recommend that Council direct staff to engage with any programs or organizations that provide programing and/or funding opportunities that promote tree planting in the Municipality of Brighton.
