Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee

That the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee approve the Agenda for the June 12, 2025 meeting as presented.

That the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee approve the Minutes from the May 8, 2025 meeting as presented.

That the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee have approximately 100 postcards printed at a cost of no more than $200.00 for use at the Popup Pride event.

That the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee approve committee members to attend other events within the general area that supports the values of the committee.

That the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee recommend that Council purchase the 2 spirited Pride Flag for use during the month of June; and That Council direct staff to report to Council regarding the possibility of flying 2 flags on one flag pole to include both the 2 spirited Pride Flag and the Indigenous flag during the month of June each year.

That the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee recommend that Council direct staff to report regarding the ownership of the poles in the downtown core and the use of the poles for Pride banners during the month of June and for other community initiatives as directed by the municipality.
